Where do you live?? The very minimal sole does not work in icy or snowy or rainy climates. You have to have a larger sole and/or tread or you will ruin your shoes and simply slip and fall down. This is why the larger soles are STILL in style for fall and winter 2025. And slingbacks? In fall and winter? Not often in the Northern Hemisphere.
Loafers are so conservative though I just think so boring. I don’t know just plain Jane I mean when I see somebody wearing like loafers with no socks. I just look away. I can’t even handle it because it’s like they’re invisible because their outfits are so common that why even look.
always interesting to see what’s in and what’s out. the older you get, the less you care, but still fun to watch. thank you! my combat boots will still get their wear. trendy or not, forever in style. especially for those with a feminine grunge style like myself
Glad that I don’t own any of the “out” shoes. I buy classic styles that never go out of fashion.
This is all good, but for someone petite who likes to wear wide leg jeans/pants and appreciates comfort (stiletto heel is a big no for winter), what boots would you advise? Knee high boots don’t really work with wide leg pants.
